This is one of the horses of the Apassionata-show. I came in from the cold, grey winter weather into the stables and the first horse I saw was this gorgeous red Lusitano stallion from Portugal. He was glowing in red and gold and the contrast to the cold winter was so strong I simply had to try and paint it. Here is the finished result.
Tässä on yksi Apassionata-shown hevosista. Tulin
sisään harmaasta, kylmästä talvisäästä tallialueelle
ja ensimmäinen hevonen, jonka näin, oli tämä upea
punainen lusitano-ori Portugalista. Se hehkui
kullanpunaisena hämärässä tallissa ja kontrasti oli
niin selvä kylmään talvi-ilmaan, että minun oli pakko
koettaa jotenkin maalata se. Tässä lopputulos.
