The Banyan Tree is a real energy bomb, an American standarbred mare. In the painting she is 3 years old. Her training is still incomplete. She more than loves honey (taught by Vanyar to do so). A very kind mare with a real spark. She is the full sister of Pilgrim´s Bunch and just as beautiful. Her owner told that when Pilgrim´s Bunch as a foal was first brought to pasture, he just stood shyly behind his mom, looking around. This filly acted quite the opposite – when brought out for the first time she ran so long she had no energy left, lay down and slept and then got back on her feet again – and continued running. She shows no signs of being tired of running and will surely make a wonderful trotter.

Vappu on varsinainen energiapommi, amerikkalainen ravuritamma. Kuvassa kolmevuotias, koulutus vielä hieman kesken. Tykkää enemmän kuin paljon hunajasta (Vanttu opetti tavan). Hyvin ystävällinen tamma, jossa on kipinää. Artturin täyssisar ja aivan yhtä kaunis. Omistaja kertoi, että kun Artturi aikanaan tuotiin varsana ensimmäisen kerran laitumelle, hän vain katseli ujona äidin takaa kummissaan kun taas Vappu antoi palaa ja juoksi niin kauan yhtä soittoa, ettei enää jaksanut. Sitten hän nukkui hetken, kömpi pystyyn ja jatkoi taas juoksuaan. Eikä näytä oireita lopettamisesta. Hänestä tulee varmasti hyvä ravuri.
